Iteeha invites Ms. Lalita Iyer to conduct this beautiful Decoupage Jewellery Making Workshop. Ms. Iyer runs Crafts and Quill for past 6 years and makes beautiful jewellery and other merchandise.
She says decoupage is an artistic sleight of hand. It's a technique of French art 'Decoupaging' which means the art or craft of decorating objects with paper, paper napkins and fabric cut-outs.
It might appear to be a painted design which is actually a paper glued in place and a few coats of clear varnish leads to an unremarkable piece of art and design statement.
Using this technique you can create your original items as well as up cycle things. You will develop a skill set that can also be used in creating art jewelries and various other craft items.
What you will make:
1. A pair of Paper Chandbali
List of material included:
1. Papers and paper napkins
2. Decoupage glue and varnish
3. Jewellery findings and tools
4. Paper base for making jewellery
So what are you waiting for? The world of decoupage jewellery awaits!
Fees: 1500/- inclusive of all material.
