Seeing Ourselves in Each Other

In the wake of the pushback on the Palestine room at Social Justice Education's Tunnel of Oppression, we have teamed up with other student activists and leaders to create a panel in which we discuss how we can extend our resistance and understandings of liberation to Palestine.

Featuring students from Students for Justice in Palestine, the Black Student Union, Native American Student Alliance, Dreamer's Alliance United as One, and the Muslim Youth Collective, we will talk together about how our resistance is connected, and how we can understand the fight for Palestine by engaging in our own activism and work.

How is the fight against police brutality in America connected to the fight for the liberation of Palestine? What are the intersections between Gaza and the fight for indigenous people in America? What are the parallels between all our fights and that of those who are undocumented or immigrants?

This is a conversation on collective liberation, for all oppressed people, and the constant pushback we get as student activists--both from people on IUPUIs campus and off of it.

We are excited to invite the community to participant and engage in our collective journeys toward freedom and liberation.
