Drawing on the Right Side of your Brain Workshop

ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
In this workshop you will be guided through a variety of drawing techniques using charcoal, pencil and ink. You will learn to draw contours, spaces, perspective and shading - using the right side of your brain! This workshop is suitable for beginners through to advanced.
DATE: Thursday 3rd May
TIME: 9:30am - 3:30pm
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:
- 1 x 2B pencil
- 1 x 3B pencil
- 1 x pencil sharpener
- 1 x kneadable eraser
- 4 x sticks of charcoal (assorted sizes)
- 1 x set of pens in sizes 1mm - 7mm
- 1 x A3 sketch book
- Your lunch!
Adults and children 16 years or above. Workshop limited to 10 people.

ABOUT ARTIST FIONA RAFFERTY:
Fiona’s work is inspired by the Australian landscape and environmental concerns. She uses pen and ink and hand-stitching to create her intricate drawings and she has been a Finalist in the Adelaide Perry Drawing Prize, the Waterhouse Natural Science Prize and the Caldera Art Award. She is in the process of completing her Master of Creative Practice and her work is held in public and private collections.
Fiona’s exhibition ‘Reminiscence – A Tribute to Judith Wright’, is currently on tour to regional galleries in Queensland.
