Free Poetry Workshop at James Island Town Hall
How do poets remain engaged in their craft without leaving everyday life behind? How can we write well, while meeting the challenges of parenthood, civic engagement, study, making a living, and publishing? We'll share strategies and write a poem to encourage ourselves to face our fears and pursue our goals.
Doctoral candidate Len Lawson is author of Chime (forthcoming) and Before the Night Wakes You (2017).
