JRY is offering a workshop in which you will learn the basics of meditation – from why we would want to meditate to how to do it. The session will be led by experienced meditators and will address questions such as: How long do we meditate? What do we focus on? What are some techniques to help us overcome distractions? The workshop will include some guided meditations, provide plenty of time for questions and will be appropriate for those new to meditation as well more experienced practitioners. If you would like to attend but don’t have time for the full 2-hour session, please feel free to leave early.
