Community Care's School Based Health Program has partnered with Lewis County Schools to provide School Based Portable Dental Clinic Services.

The following services are provided by a licensed dental hygienist at Jane Lew Elementary School on May 7:
• Screening – visually look inside the child’s mouth to check for cavities.
• Teeth cleaning- procedure that removes stains, tarter and plaque from teeth.
• Fluoride Varnish-a sticky liquid that coats all teeth to help make them stronger and prevent tooth decay.
• Sealants-a tooth colored coating that is painted on the back teeth to prevent them from food, germs, and acid that cause tooth decay.
• Oral Health Education-lessons to help students learn about healthy teeth and gums.
