"Ever felt that you live in a dream?" HERMANO is there to take you on a sonic trip. Baiocchi and Michailidis will offer you atmospheric improvisations and ambient soundscapes, a fine mix of of musical genres from post rock to jazz. Just back from a release tour in California they present their debut album "North of the World" in their hometown Rotterdam. The music reminds us at Dizzy of minimalistic, ambient pioneers like Daniel Lanois, Hector Zazou and Robert Fripp.
Good Times (Santa Cruz) writes: "HERMANO’s soundscapes sweep listeners off their feet - sometimes, quite literally". Kaitlyn Atchley on their concert at the Kuumbwa Jazz Center: "Two chosen brothers sharing dreams in a twisting auditory landscape". Better be ready for a journey through time and space at Dizzy. Tickets: 5 euro (all tickets for the band).
Michalis Michailidis - guitar, effects, loops, vocals
