Ken Whelihan is a USEF judge, Grand Prix veteran and a popular teacher and clinician. He began his professional career by riding for the late Barney Ward. McLain’s dad was out in front of the then new trend of importing European Showjumpers. Ken went on to work for the Lenehan family and world record holder Anthony D’Ambrosio jr.
Ken spent much of his career in Connecticut as a professional at Peter Leone’s Lionshare farm and at the Ox Ridge Hunt Club.
Ken has a systematic approach to bringing along horses with patience and flexibility to make allowances for colder or hotter temperaments. His teaching evolves from years spent receiving guidance from legends including George Morris, Anne Kursinski, Leslie Howard and Peter Leone.
Costs for the clinic are as followed:
*$110 for 2-hour group
*$20 audit fee
*$20 for stall if needed
