Hey, JSC Students: Unleash your inner drag king or queen and SLAY! For this year's LGBTQ Pride Week, your favorite local queens, Emoji Nightmare & Nikki Champagne, are taking over the campus for a night of sickening performances, tantalizing talent, and the opportunity for you - yes, YOU, over there! - to showcase your performance ability!

Emoji and Nikki (together as NIGHTPAGNE) are two of Burlington's best and brightest drag queens. Both have headlined sold out shows across Northern Vermont as hosts and performer at some of the Queen City's biggest drag shows including New Queers Eve, Paint: A Drag Cabaret, Glitter & Duct Tape, The Vermont Pride Festival, Winter is a Drag Ball, Queer Pop-Up Dance Party, and SASS. They've been featured on WCAX-TV, graced the pages of Seven Days, and highlighted on an episode of Stuck in Vermont. In 2017, they launched the Vermont Chapter of Drag Queen Story Hour, receiving national attention and creating lots of buzz locally. On April 27th, they return to you, JSC, to sprinkle glitter and gemstones all over your campus. buzzes

Here's how the night works: NIGHTPAGNE will host and perform. It's your job to show the audience and panel of judges what you've got! Come donning a name and a prepared lip sync to a song or mix (keeping it under 5 minutes is a good idea). Be creative, unique, and fierce! Never done drag before? Don't worry - NIGHTPAGNE is on campus all day to help you, including a Drag 101 session from 2pm to 5pm in Dewey. Need assistance? Want makeup tips? Come see the queens and get primed for the big night! It's the best open office hours you'll experience all semester - we promise!

This event is free to JSC Students, Faculty, and Staff.
A $5 donation to the JSC Pride Alliance is suggested for those in the broader community attending.
