The course is open to the following personnel: officer, warrant officer & enlisted specialties: 60C/D, 64A-Z, 640A, 68 R/S/T, 66B, 71B, & 72A-D. The course is also open to Air Force, Navy & DOD Civilians serving in Public Health positions at all staff & command levels.

The theme for the 2018 Army Public Health Course is Public Health: Our Role in Improving Readiness, Modernizing the Force, and Taking Care of the DoD Family. This course will provide attendees the most current Public Health information topics and improve core competencies for Public Health officers, enlisted, and DOD Civilians. This course will enhance the Public Health professional's core knowledge while simultaneously maintaining and strengthening continuity across the force. Content includes a plenary session, AOC/MOS breakout sessions, Public Health workshops along with optional Registered Environmental Health Specialist/Registered Sanitarian (REHS/RS) and/or the Certified in Public Health (CPH) certification exams.
