Do you or someone you know experience feelings of anxiousness, anger, irritability or avoidance of people, places or situations? Many of us experience events that impact our perceptions of the world and determine how we interpret and respond to future experiences. Sometimes, our past experiences can keep us trapped between regret of the past and fear of the future.
The Journey to Heal workshop is a free workshop designed to befriend, reconnect with, and feel empowered in your body. In a safe and predictable environment, you are invited to notice sensations, experiment with movement and breathing, and practice making choices that may be right for you. Learn to become conscious of the workings of your own mind and body without attaching to the stories. In a non-judgmental environment, we will emphasize self-awareness and self-regulation through the techniques of yoga.
This class is open to all levels of yogis (including those who may have never been to a yoga class before!) as options and modifications will be provided to all - the only requirement is a curiosity to explore the mind/body connection in a safe, supportive and predictable environment!
