“Stress is our response to daily life. It affects us emotionally, physically, and behaviorally. The right amount of stress can be a positive force that helps us to do our best and to keep alert and energetic. Too much stress, however, can make us tense and anxious and can cause sleep problems.”
We will present many simple strategies, methods and practices for management and relief of stress. These might include the breath, mindfulness and awareness practices, relaxation response methods and building resilience strategies, despite our fast pace and multi-generated lifestyle.
For many of us, we live a time-pressured, fragmented, overloaded, distracted, agitated and worry full life. This affects our sleep, relationships, emotions, health and wellbeing.
With education and experience, you can create a “tool box” of self-care strategies!
Nancy Carlson, Certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor and Integrative Health & Wellness Coach, brings a multi-dimensional approach to her work by combining her experience as an RN in conventional western medicine and holistic healing modalities.
