There is no denying that the unprecedented exponential pace of change affecting teamwork these days leaves teams overwhelmed and ill-equipped to cope with what has become their standard operating environment.
And it is not only those classed as “team leaders” who are affected and accountable. We are all part of a team, whether at work or at home, and we must all be able to recognise when a change needs to be made to improve overall team performance, what that change is, and how to best implement it.
Team leadership expert Andy Fieldhouse will be on hand to answer the fundamental questions such as:
- How do we cope in such a flexible and intrinsically agile environment?
- How can a diverse workforce be successfully motivated?
- How are high performance environments where happy teams thrive created?
Andy Fieldhouse has spent over twenty years working with teams. He is a speaker, writer, blogger and commentator on teams and teamwork, as well as being a man on a mission: to help people get teamwork right.
After completing a degree in South & South East Asian history from London University’s School of Oriental & African Studies, Andy spent 14 years working in London for a number of companies in varied sectors and roles. Through his experiences, he was able to learn about teams from the inside and what makes them tick.
In 2008, Andy’s passion for working with teams brought him to Dubai as part of Biz Group, a team building and training organisation. Since then, he has worked with hundreds of corporate teams across the Middle East and further afield, helping them to improve their team skills so that they can achieve greater success.
In January 2017, Andy launched The Team Space, www.theteamspace.com, a website and blog which helps people learn about successful team building and teamwork.
Andy is married and has two toddlers who keep him busy. If there is any spare time left in his day, he likes to swing a golf club (badly) and keep up with his history reading.
