Participants will learn basic techniques for fishing from both a beach and a fishing pier including knot tying, casting, species identification, and proper release protocols. In addition to fishing skills, participants will learn to be ethical anglers. Limited space available. All gear will be provided.
The program begins at 9 a.m. on the Loggerhead Marine Center back deck and concludes with fishing on the Juno Beach Pier at 11 a.m.. *Parents or guardians will need to transport children from the Center to the Pier.
Loggerhead Marinelife Center is located at 14200 U.S. Highway One
The Juno Beach Pier is located 14775 US Highway One, approximately a 1/2 mile north of Loggerhead Marinelife Center.
