Your tangles are your poses! Join Deb Koch* for an afternoon of Zentangle, the easy-to-learn method of pattern drawing that is sometimes referred to as “yoga with a pen”. An elegant sequence of steps releases the flow of your own innate creativity. The border and string create a safe structure for your practice, much like your experience on the mat. Using simple strokes of a pen in repetition, tanglers find that the breath slows and the racing mind relaxes. Benefits include stress release, enhanced mindfulness and mental repose. Everything you need is provided, including lap boards and paper tiles, plus a Zentangle kit that is yours to keep.

*Deb is a retired special education teacher who has been practicing yoga for forty years. She became interested in the Zentangle method three years ago for its application in dealing with loss and managing stress, chronic pain, anxiety, depression and/or PTSD. Deb became a certified Zentangle teacher (CZT) in April of 2017.
