We are excited to present a joint Spring Concert, featuring the 111th Army Band under the command of CW4 Curtis Hiyane and Honolulu Wind Ensemble under the direction or Mr. Keith Higaki!

This free concert will feature both bands performing pieces separately, followed by a number of combined pieces! Musical selections include Pilatus: Mountain of Dragons, Festive Overture, Persis, Nazca Lines, Symphonic Prelude, and more!

About the Honolulu Wind Ensemble: Founded in 1973, the Honolulu Wind Ensemble (formerly known as the Honolulu Community Concert Band) is a state & federally recognized tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, comprised of volunteer members who enjoy playing instrumental music and performing for the community. All walks of life are represented within HWE, including teachers, lawyers, engineers, scientists, military personnel, doctors, students, and retirees.

About the 111th Army Band: Established in 1919, Hawaii's Own 111th Army Band has been serving Hawaii's military and civilian communities for 99 years! Our mission is to provide music throughout the spectrum of military operations to instill in our forces the will to fight and win, foster the support of our citizens, and promote our national interests at home and abroad. On orders, the 111th Army Band provides National Guard Domestic Operations support throughout Hawaii.
