This workshop is for students who have successfully completed Aerial Yoga for Beginners classes and are looking to heighten their knowledge of aerial basics to an advanced level of complexity. We will practice pose breakdown, advanced wraps and drops, combine aerial sequencing, expand on aerial skills and tricks, and learn how to create a dynamic routine of grace and beauty. We will focus on conditioning and increasing your endurance during mounts, dismounts, transitions, and balancing. We will also focus on body awareness and flexibility in order to deepen your splits and straddles, improve shoulder rotation and stability, and create more space in the spine for deeper backbends. We will choreograph a beautiful aerial sequence routine in this 1-1/2 hour workshop. Spaces are limited. Call or sign up online to reserve your silk.
