Ever wonder what’s off the trail at Loxahatchee Slough Natural Area? Come slog through the wetlands with ERM staff at Palm Beach County's largest natural area and see what wonders are hiding off the beaten path.
This will be a 1.5 mile hike with knee deep water in some locations, so you may want to bring a towel and some dry clothes/shoes for after the hike.
We will provide water and hiking sticks. Please bring a water bottle so that you can fill it up before the hike.
Please meet at 9:00 am at the SW corner of PGA Blvd and the C-18 Canal. This is approximately 2.3 miles west of PGA Blvd and the Turnpike on the south side of PGA. Here is a Google map of the location https://goo.gl/maps/GCqcE9G5qr82
