Have you ever noticed how music can carry you away?
In this workshop, we'll be discussing the energetics and meaning of sound, specifically chant and mantra. How can these tools be meaningfully integrated into your Yoga practice? After discussion, you will be guided through a practice intended to calm the nervous system - and the mind. The practice will end in time for some Q&A.
Uncomfortable with sanskrit? No fear! Laurie will offer other suggestions or you may come with your own. Chanting experience is not required and you are welcome to simply listen to the chant during class.
