Hi everybody! My name is Thomas and I am the store manager here at Performance Bike in Plano. I will be leading our monthly mountain bike ride and beginner MTB clinic this upcoming Sunday morning, April 8th 2018 from 9-1030am at Katie Jackson Park in Dallas. This ride is VERY beginner and intermediate friendly and is a great opportunity to begin your mountain biking adventure in DFW!

We will meet in the parking lot for Katie Jackson Park at
4900 Haverwood Ln, Dallas, TX 75287 at 8:45am
*Wheels down at 9am* (that means be there a little early so we can hit the trail at 9)
Please bring a mountain bike, helmet, water, a light snack that you can carry, and a flat tire repair kit including a spare tube for your bicycle tire size. Katie Jackson is a wonderful trail with small obstacles and tree gates. This is the best starter mountain bike trail in DFW. So if it's your first time you are in really good hands and will learn how to "pick a line," get into "attack position," and practice turning and braking with confidence.
Even if you are a more seasoned rider, come on out and bring a friend that might not be as confident. We split into two groups based on skill level.
There are no bathrooms on site but there is a gas station and a Starbucks not too far away.
Once again, I am here for you and we really hope to see you out there this Sunday! After the sun comes out on Thursday of this week, the trail might just be ride-able Sunday.
