Bill retired from his career 12 years ago and began his lifework of writing and teaching the philosophy of Yoga as taught by his guru, Swami Bawra. Through Amazon, Bill has published two versions of the Samkhya sutras, commentary on the Yoga Sutras, four Upanishads, and the Bhagavad Gita. He is a senior teacher of Brahmrishi Yoga, and has offered this teaching at studios in Akron, Canton, Kent and in India.
This study will use Bill’s version of the Bhagavad Gita, inspired by and based on the work of Tilak, considered the “father of Indian Independence,” who wrote his commentary while imprisoned by the British in the early 20th century.
