If you are at high risk of deveolping Type 2 Diabetes, the YMCA's Diabetes Prevention Program can help you make lifestyle changes that will improve your overall health and well-being, as well as reduce your chances of developing the disease. In order to qualify for the program, participants must be at least 18 years old, overweight (BMI> 25) and at high risk for developing Type 2 Diabetes or have been diagnosed with prediabetes.
