Do you LOVE dogs? Need ideas on how to relieve stress? The Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA), in collaboration with Pet Connections (part of the Ontario ARC), will host a stress-buster event Tuesday, April 3.
Come see our furry friends between 12:20-1:30 p.m. (during Common Hour). We’ll be in Dahlstrom room 46 (D46), so stop by for some much-needed pet therapy.
According to the National Institutes of Health, spending time with dogs (and other animals) has been shown to increase circulation of endorphins and dopamine, causing stress reduction and overall “good feelings.”
For more information, ask any SOTA member or contact Dr. Michele Bennett.
