In this workshop, we will discuss how to assess, identify and repair simple issues on your bike before you start riding again after a winter of being stored. Your ride home will be smoother than ever before!
We'll be focusing on 3 areas; the bike as a whole unit, the brakes and wheels, and the gears and shifters. This is a beginner class that is for all skill levels. Space is limited and spots will fill up quickly, reserve your spot by purchasing a ticket in advance. This class is only $10* and all proceeds go directly towards supporting Key City Bike.
Your instructor is Aaron Buege. Aaron is a professional bike mechanic and longtime member and supporter of Key City Bike.
Students under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
We strongly encourage all KCB regular and lead volunteers attend this workshop.
*$10 fee may be waived for those who do not have $10 to spare, please do not let the cost of this class stop you from attending. We want to make bike maintenance accessible for everyone. If you are able to cover the cost of additional participants, please let us know.
