In the 37 years since he rolled onto the rock to play his first Key West gig, Bill Blue has become a Blues icon and elder statesman of the Conch Republic music scene. Many miles and songs from his Richmond, VA roots. Bill's mastery of Blues has made him a legend not only in the U.S. but across the Atlantic as well. Hailed as one of the last original 'back porch' Blues masters, Bill cut his teeth in Arthur "Big Boy" Cradup's band (Arthur wrote Elvis Presley's "That's All Right Mama"). After Arthur's death, Bill took to the road with The Bill Blue Band, sharing the stage with such greats as Bonnie Raitt; The Allman Brothers; Aerosmith; BB King and ZZ Top. He was signed to the famous Blues label Adelphi Records.

This special concert celebrates the pre-release of Bill's new album, "The King Of Crazy Town" - the follow-up to his widely successful "Mojolation" (2013). Many of the musicians who actually recorded on the album will perform at this once-in-a-lifetime event. Eminent guitarist, Matt Backer, is flying in from England for the show (Julian Lennon, Elton John, Joe Cocker, Steve Winwood; Aimee Mann...). In addition, Bill will be supported by some of Key West's finest players: Ericson Holt; Claire Finley, Randy Morrow and more, whom you know from the sold-out Ramble shows.

Juliana MacDowell, a local singer-songwriter who also hails originally from VA, will debut songs from her brand new CD, "Leaving Home." She will be surrounded by a great cast of musicians with ample opportunity to blow and to be creative in their support of her Americana /Pop-Country sound.

To mark the uniqueness of the evening, Jack Smith of Pirate Radio WKYZ will emcee the show and every pair of tickets sold will entitle the bearer to a complementary limited edition, signed, numbered, white label CD of Bill's new album.

V.I.P. BALCONY TICKETS include private bar, hors d'oeuvres and a complimentary CD of Juliana's new album.
PILAR RUM will be serving their premium spirits at this event.
