Professional entertainer and amateur ornithologist Tony Starlight presents an evening of birds, music and laughter. Tony will share his photographs and comic commentary on birding and discuss how he got “pecked by the bird bill” and began birding just two years ago. He’ll also reenact some of his sometimes contentious, but always comical “Conversations with Birds”, which are the basis for his 2018 calendar and his forthcoming book.
He’ll close the show with his some-sing-alongs like, “Band on the Bird”, “I Wish They All Could Be California Gulls” and more.
This program is free and open to the public as part of the Pacific City Birding and Blues Festival Community Open House. At the same time, you can enjoy a delicious, nutritious meal (donation $10) that will benefit the Nestucca Valley Backpack Food Program!
