On Wednesday, April 11th from 6:30-7:30pm the Kingsville Public Library will host a program on Black Bears in your Backyard. Jason Warren from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources will discuss the recent increased Black bear sightings in northern Ashtabula County. Ohio’s bear population is estimated to be anywhere from 50-100 individual bears. For humans and bears to coexist comfortably, it is important we understand a little about the biology and habits of the black bear. Pre-registration is not required, but if you would like to RSVP please call the library to at (440) 224-0239 or stop in during open hours Monday through Thursday 9am-7pm, Friday 9am-6pm, and Saturday 9am to 4pm.
