Center Theatre Group invites you to attend a moderated discussion with a panel of local thought-leaders in dialogue about the context, issues, and ideas finding voice on our stages.*

Can Music Make Democracy?

In the 1950s, America began sending jazz musicians like Louis Armstrong beyond the Iron Curtain, to countries like Poland, to spread democracy. Today, Jazz Ambassadors continue to travel around the world to share their art and play a role in diplomacy. Enjoy live music and discover the history of jazzocracy—which encompasses the Cold War, the civil rights movement, and more—at brunch before Critical Mass Performance Group's AMERYKA is onstage at the Douglas.

No ticket purchase is required to attend.
