What does the day involve?:

Unlike our other classes which involve completing a specific project, this class hands the control over to you. You design and make what you choose, that may be a project with the aim to practice a certain skill, or maybe you are looking to make a special present, or create something you have always wanted to own, this class provides you with the tutor support, professional tools and friendly, welcoming environment to make your designs.

The studio is well equipped with soldering equipment, stone setting tools, a wide range of hand tools, texturing tools, a rolling mill, and polishing equipment, which will allow you the chance to create your designs within a professional setting.

Experience required:

This class is suitable for those with any level of experience. I will email you in advance of the class starting to ascertain what your plans are for the session, this will allow us the chance to structure the day and

Class size:

Classes are limited to a maximum of 4 students allowing for plenty of tutor attention.

What is included?:

– All tools and consumables are supplied

– Light refreshments are provided

The cost of this course does not include materials. A couple of weeks before the class is due to start, I will contact you via email to discuss your intended designs for the session, I will be able to suggest suitable materials for your projects and order then in time for the class. It also allows me the opportunity to prepare suitable handouts to assist each of you with your designs and prepare any demonstrations which will really help you develop your skills.

What to bring:

For safety reasons, at each session closed in shoes must be worn and long hair tied back. We will provide light refreshments however you might want to bring some lunch.
