From Hunter gatherer to bushcraft to woodsman!
Get the chance to experience a woodland throughout the seasons, sleeping out! Bring a tent, hammock or sleep out in a lean-to shelter.
For children aged 8 and over.
ONLY 10 SPACES PER SESSION!
Drop off at 12 on the first day and pick up at 12 the following day.
Location: near Aberaeron.
What we will be doing over the 3 sessions:
-Fire skills: flint & steel, Bow & drill
-Shelter building: debris, lean-to, bender
-Green woodwork: spoons, mushrooms, cooking pot hangers, etc.
-Tree & flower ID: uses, foraging, etc.
-Cooking: dutch oven, hot stones, smoking, etc.
-Natural paints & intro to flint knapping.
-Cordage: from willow, bramble, nettle, rush, etc.
-Learn to make charcoal pencils & charcloth.
-Natural navigation: using the sun and the stars.
& much more!
We will start each session with a cooked lunch on the fire, where we will discuss what we will be doing, while getting to know each other.
A cooked dinner and breakfast are also provided, as well as unlimited hot/cold drinks.

All sessions will be led by qualified practitioners, who are all first aid trained and have current DBS checks.
As it is located on a smallholding, this group is not suitable for children who are afraid of animals.
If you would like to book all 4 sessions, but one of the dates does not work for you get in touch as soon as possible and we will see if we can move it slightly.
