Join us as we discuss safe health and beauty products!

Meet Sarah: I'm Sarah, a manager at Beautycounter, a health and beauty company on a mission to get safer products in the hands of everyone.

I am a natural light beauty photographer, a wife to a snowboarding Colorado native, turned industrial designer, a mommy to a 2 year old adorable (in my biased opinion) little boy and a puppy mom.
I have been with Beautycounter just over a year now and only wish I found it sooner. I've been making changes in my life for safer and cleaner living for myself and the environment for some time now. We do cloth napkins and towels in our home as well as cloth diapers for my little guy. I've made my fair share of non toxic detergents, household cleaners as well as face and body care - some successful and some failures!
I was definitely more focused on the chemicals in household cleaners and not really realizing how much was in my everyday skin care products!
Pregnancy had me aware of the amount of chemicals in simple everyday products, (so many "do not use when pregnant" labels!) and the birth of my son brought even more awareness to light as I was extra cautious about what products I used for him. Then, my moms diagnosis of breast cancer really made got to pay attention to all of the products I used on myself! I immediately bought new deodorant and knew more needed to change.
Beautycounter sort of just popped up at the perfect time and was the answer I had been looking for! I made one purchase and joined as a consultant! Safer products for me and my family that I don't have to worry about and they perform! Every day there is another article about another study, or what was found in something - everyday I am grateful I found Beautycounter for not only their safer options, but to be a voice in their mission for change.
