Join Dr. Pete Reddy, a local doctor who has been certified to teach Mind Body Stress Reduction (MBSR) by University of Massachusetts for a introductory talk about the benefits and neuroscience of meditation. This lecture presents MBSR in a scientific and secular way with the focus being on how, as John-Kabat Zinn says, “Mindfulness is about being fully awake in our lives. It is about perceiving the exquisite vividness of each moment.”
