- Levanna a.k.a Northern Soul Girl -

Levanna McLean aka Northern Soul Girl came to the attention of the music industry through her up beat dance videos on Youtube. Her videos even caught the eye of Universal Music Group who released 3 CD Compilations of hers, selling over 100,000 copies.

She continues to embrace her love of rare soul music through Djing, Dancing and making videos. Join Levanna Mclean in Cambridge as she takes to the decks at OOX with her vinyl box full of Funk, Soul, Disco and more.

Listen back to the HamFM show which she guested on and for which she prepared a very special exclusive OOX mix!

-Scarlett O’Malley-

This West London-based DJ has Northern Soul running through from her head to her toes, in her record collection, at her fingertips and on the dancefloor. Scarlett embodies groove-drenched music in all her sets; spreading soul across the UK by any means necessary.

Her deep-rooted love affair with heart-wrenching soul music started on the radio. Her award-winning show, 'Scarlett's Doo-Wop to Northern Soul Show', took home Surge Radio’s “Best Specialty Music” and 'Best Female' title in 2015 and 2016. These days, you can catch her on the airwaves with her shows 'Red Head Records' on Portobello Radio and 'The Soul Exchange' on Transmission Roundhouse.

Scarlett has toured the country as resident DJ for Itchy Feet, has regular slots at both Fred Perry and The Blues Kitchen and has started her own night in Notting Hill called 'The Soul Exchange'!

-Ned Stax-

Less than two years since his debut behind the decks, Ned has already conquered Glastonbury and cut his teeth at South London's Deptford Northern Soul Club and East London's Soul Box. This ambitious young soul boy clearly has much more to give. This year has already seen him venture to Bologna, Italy to play his unique brand of 70's and 80's disco laced with 60's northern and modern soul all on vinyl.

Last year saw Ned catch the attention of DAB radio station MiSoul Connoisseurs; giving birth to his radio show The New Silk Road, a platform for a plethora of genre bending mixes and youthful presentation.

As a DJ, Broadcaster and record collector, Ned Stax brings a mixture of Funk, Soul, Northern, Disco, Boogie, and Jazz Dance to his eclectic mix of dance-floor fillers. With a background of Grime, Garage and House his expertise don't stop at Vintage selections!

- Brother To Brother -

The amalgamation of The Electrifying Mojo & HamHox created a spin off Funk duo, greater than the sum of their parts.

Michael Whitehead was a guest on Hamish Oliphant's CamFM show in January, and ever since then, their shared love of black american music has blossomed into a beautiful bromance.
Both prolific vinyl hoarders that spend more time scratching around on discogs.com than on their respective science degrees.

You can expect to hear a set of their rarest and most uplifting soul, funk, jazz and disco records from Detroit to Dar es Salem.

- Will Foot (Deptford Northern Soul Club/ Young Turks) -

Headliner 4/5 is the enigmatic mambo man, Mr Foot. This guy lives and breathes the music that he plays. Toes in many pies, he is as much involved in the electronic scene as he is early soul. From Pewsey to Paddington, the bright lights of the city haven't changed this cheeky chap one bit. Oh, apart from the Gucci bags...
Co-founder of South London’s infamous Deptford Northern Soul Club and Young Turks family member. Expect soul, funk, jazz, latin, disco and mambo. No stranger to the UK's festival stages and London’s underground scene, Will has spent the last year playing across the UK and Ireland.
