Following numerous requests from busy parents, we are happy to announce that we will double some of our events on Thursdays afternoons, starting with your Healthy Baking Workshop that is being so popular!! All the recipes are ideals for kids breakfasts and snacks and can be adjusted easily without nuts.
Sweets and desserts can be really unhealthy; from the refined sugar to the horrible bleached flours, not to mention additives, colourants, and preservatives. The problem is, they are so delicious that sometimes we cannot say “no”.
There are ways to enjoy tasty desserts without having to compromise your health and we are ready to teach you all about how to make a healthier version of your favourite treats.
During this exclusive workshop, Chiara Squinzi, certified Health Coach, will teach you how to make 3 types of desserts:
- Whole-Wheat Cinnamon Rolls with Coconut Glaze
- Protein Banana Bread (gluten-free)
- Chewy Apple Pie Muffins (can be made gluten-free)
These treats will be calorie-controlled, and all recipes will make either 8 snacks of 150kcal each or 4 breakfasts of 400kcal each.
You will learn everything from where to find wholesome flours and how to make your own, to how to use natural sweeteners and substitute eggs and milk in your desserts. You will learn how to make a flax egg, make nut milk and coconut whipped cream.
Most importantly, you will learn the basic techniques so you are able to adjust the recipes according to your taste.
Those 3 recipes are plant-based and made with simple ingredients available in Saigon!
