Join us for a Spin Bike warm up followed by 50 minutes of Yin Yoga and then sit a bit, enjoying some mint tea or perhaps a glass of vino!
We now have 10 Spin Bikes; once these are filled, the Yin portion of the class is open for 8 more participants.
Yin Yoga is a practice where poses are held longer in order to get a deeper stretch into the connective tissue.Yin reduces stress and anxiety while increasing circulation, flexibility and joint mobility. It also stills, calms, and balances the mind and body. Yin (as opposed to Yang where one actively moves from pose to pose) is designed to help you sit longer, and more comfortably in meditation by stretching connective tissue around the joints (mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum, and spine) and accessing deeper layers of fascia.
This class will feature poses done on your bottom, back or belly. Please bring a blanket!
