This hike will be led by Master Naturalists from the Texas Master Naturalists: Rolling Plains Chapter.
A late afternoon hike along parts of Onion Creek Trail. This portion includes the "The Horn" tunnel and the spillway overlook. The total distance for this hike is about 1.5 miles and the terrain is mostly flat.
What to bring: Please dress for the weather, wear good shoes for hiking, and bring water. You're welcome to bring binoculars for bird and wildlife viewing. Friendly, leashed pets are welcome too.
Meet: At the Horn Tunnel, #6 on our trail map. Parking is available there.
This program is free to attend with paid park entrance ($4 per adult, kids 12 and under are free).
