Christmas Eve Meetup Mingle Potluck & Game Night

Get Directions

#var:page_name# cover

Join your Meetup friends on Christmas Eve for socializing, games, and eating... three of our favorite things! This is a great way to meet new people and hang out with old friends in a comfortable and enjoyable environment. This is a multi-group event and is open to adults of all ages. We have room for 100+ people so please invite your friends!

We have many games on hand, but please bring your favorite card, board, or Euro games too.

Everyone needs to bring a potluck item to share. It's not OK to arrive empty handed. If you don't cook, you can bring takeout, deli, or grocery. If you want to drink something other than water, then bring a beverage to share. Beer & wine are OK; please use responsibly. Ice will be provided. Be aware that some may have food restrictions, so please label your items accordingly.

We'll have full use of the large kitchen area so refrigerators, stoves, ovens, and microwave are available. We should have everything you need for preparing and serving.

We'll be going green and using real dishes. Every guest needs to help out for at least 5-10 minutes so the organizers aren't stuck working the entire event. We greatly appreciate those who can arrive early or stay late to help with setup and cleanup too.

• 6:30 PM to midnight. Set-up starts at 6:00 PM, all helping hands are welcome!

• $5 per person. We use the honor system so please be an honorable person and pay your fair share of the expenses for space rental and supplies. You can pay at the door with cash or check (make checks out to Lake Harriet Spiritual Community).

• RSVPs via this event are greatly appreciated but not required. "Maybe" RSVPs are fine; we understand that life is unpredictable so it’s OK if you change your RSVP later.

• The parking lot is very small so on-street parking and a short walk will be required for most. Please be respectful of our residential neighbors and keep the noise levels low when coming & going.
