Friends of the Arts monthly meeting
There are some open positions for the 2018-19 school year.
Nominations occur at the April meeting, elections at the May meeting, and transition at June meeting.
Term of office is one year for all positions.
Schedules and presides over all meetings
Appoints committees and committee chairpersons, with the concurrence of the executive board
Reviews and concurs with expenditures
Keeps the official organization binder with copies of bank statements and other pertinent documents
Assist the President with his/her duties
Performs all duties of the president in his/her absence and has authority to co-sign checks.
Gives prior notice of general meetings
Keeps a true and complete record of proceedings at the meetings (take minutes)
Conducts correspondence and information distribution as required
Maintains the official file of correspondence
We are also in search of a fundraising committee or chair. The fundraising chair/committee manages fundraising opportunities, reviews the merit of fundraising offers and provides recommendations to the executive board, and develops fundraising programs.
