The evening, sponsored by Home Instead Senior Care and AARP, will begin with the viewing of a one-hour documentary called "Alzheimer's: Every Minute Counts" that highlights the urgent wake-up call regarding the national threat posed by Alzheimer's disease. It will be followed by a panel discussion that includes Heather Bauer (Home Instead Senior Care), Denise Young (Alzheimer's Association), Rebecca Sharp (VAYA Health), James Hyde (Dementia Friendly WNC), and Dr. Tom Kaluzynski (Memory Care). Carol McLimans, Land of Sky Family Caregiver Resource Specialist, will the moderator.
