Event organized by LakewoodAlive

Join LakewoodAlive and Lakewood Hardware for our hands-on window repair workshop. Repairing a window is not only energy efficient and environmentally friendly, but it also helps to keep the historic look and feel of your wonderfully old home. Rotted frames, deteriorated sashes and leaky frames can generally be fixed in window restoration — even a rotting window isn't necessarily too far gone for restoration.

Glenn Palmer will be leading the evening and working with class participants to check window sashes, identify parts of the window, learn simple window repairs such as sash repair, glazing, sash cord repair etc.

The class size will be limited to 25 participants, please register for your free spot here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/knowing-your-home-hands-on-window-repair-tickets-44570228754

Knowing Your Home is an educational series focused on best sustainability and home maintenance practices empowering homeowners to tackle necessary repairs and improvements.
