Dress: Comfortable/casual clothes & soft shoes for moving (no flip flops/sandles/tennis shoes)
Hula is Hawaiian dance. It is a beautiful art form and culturally significant practice that embraces and perpetuates Hawaiian history, legend, and culture. The dancers tell stories using the hands. A repertoire of graceful foot and hip motions complete the dance. The classes will include language and culture and depending on the level both Hula Kahiko and Hula 'Auana.
June 2018 class fee for Monday night classes is $20/person. One $20/ticket will get you into all 4 classes!
Mary Shelton has been teaching dance for well over 25 years. Belly dancing, line dancing, Hawaiian hula, clogging instruction are her passion. She loves sharing her dance passion and seeing the confidence her students gain. Many of Mary's students enjoy the dance for exercise.
Space is limited. To guarantee you a spot, purchasing tickets in advance is preferred. Registration is non-refundable. This class is non-transferable to others.
