Children with autism and their families are invited to meet the Easter Bunny in a safe and sensory-friendly environment!
Autism Friendly Easter Bunny will be trained to avoid loud noises and sudden movements, and will ask direct questions instead of open-ended questions. Additionally, the Easter Bunny staging area itself will be adjusted so that there are no loud noises or flashing lights.
The event will take place at Lansing Mall from 9:00 a.m. -11:00 p.m. is hosted by Centria Autism, who will have representatives on-site to answer any questions and provide helpful information.
Parking & Directions: Please use the mall entrance next to the Chipotle, as the other doors will be locked. Once you are inside, please proceed to the main mall corridor until you reach the Easter Stage.
To keep the event as accessible as possible, this event is being hosted in a public space, and is not a private event, so you may be filmed or photographed by media or Centria Healthcare. Thank you very much for your understanding!
