We are proud to conduct Mad Science open lecture as a part of the “12th International Symposium of Cognition, Logic and Communication “Impact of Visuospatial Skills on Learning” which is co-organized by the Faculty of Computing and Faculty of Business management and economics of the University of Latvia.

You are invited to join us on a journey together with our honored speaker Professor David H. Uttal to explore “When, how, and why does spatial thinking matter in learning science and mathematics?”
Professor David H. Uttal (Northwestern University, USA) is one of the most significant explorers of visual spatial skills, who has succeeded in substantiating the different effects of spatial skills on humanitarian, social and exact sciences. Currently Professor Uttal is the president of the Cognitive Development Society, and has received several significant awards in the field of Cognitive Development.
