Parenting in Community (navigation relationships with Grandparents Daycare workers etc.
Raising our kids in a community has a number of benefits. We are part of a network of people who care for, and who are invested in our children and their well being. Our extended family, the educational experts, friends and other parents often play a vital role in the development of our kids as well rounded and social beings.
But what do we do if the helpful tendencies don’t feel right? Where do we draw the line? How do we accept help, and stand our ground?
A reminder that Parent Tap is open to adults only - although infants are welcome, older babies who have mastered the art of mobility are asked to stay home with a caregiver.
