“INK FRIED RICE”
Tattoos written in Chinese are common among Western people. But often, nobody knows or cares what the characters mean. Using the most crude translations of Taiwanese food, this series mocks that dopey ignorance with tattoos written in beautiful English. Although the truth is revealed here, these works make us think: is there somewhere else in our lives where naivety is causing us to be so embarrasingly duped?
Various unrelated works by the artist will also be on display.
