Come join us at the Lewisburg Children’s Museum for an afternoon of skills for a lifetime of healthy habits! Bucknell University students, both athletes and non-athletes, will share how they make healthy decisions in their daily lives and encourage children to do the same. A healthy snack will be provided as Bucknell students explain the benefits of balanced nutrition.
Topics will include:
- Healthy snacking*
- The importance of hand-washing, regularly showering and washing athletic equipment
- Staying hydrated throughout the day and especially during active play
- Limiting screen time and exercising or playing outdoors
- No bullying and being a friend to everyone
Target Age Range: 4th and 5th graders (but all are welcome)
Cost: $5 (to be collected at the door)

For an activity in explaining the importance of healthy snacking, we will have a selection of ingredients in which children will make their own trail mix. NUTS will be present in the room.
