Announcing the monthly cooking course that everyone keeps asking for.
I have had many requests from people who want to know how to cook more plant-based meals and add more vegetables into their day.
Nature Plated will be a monthly class starting on Tuesday, April 17 from 6-8:00 pm at the Life Balance Studio. Each nightly menu will consist of 3-4 courses, seasonally chosen, all whole foods, plant-based, and will be designed to be easy and inexpensive to recreate in the home kitchen. Dishes will be as allergy-free as possible. I will attempt to add in some interesting fresh herbs and vegetables you may not have thought of trying.
I will let you know the menu ahead of time at the beginning of each month so you can decide if you want to attend that month's class. To start out with I am going to hold the limit at 8 people. Reservations will be required and payment will be needed up front to hold your spot. Each class will be $35 which will include the full meal, the demonstration, and all recipes.
You can certainly BYOB. Since you will know the menu ahead of time it will make choosing a wine or beverage easier. I will always have water and teas available for free.
April is a transition month here in Maine and local gardens are yet to get up to speed, so this will be the menu for the first month.

Refunds will be offered up to 24 hours beforehand. If you have to cancel within 24 hours the fee will be non-refundable due to the fact I will have already purchased the food for your share.
