Come learn to fly, find your inner strength, and surprise yourself with what you can do! No partner or experience required, but of course bring your friends if you want to share the fun!
Acro Yoga is a dynamic practice, uplifting and enlivening us through movement, connection, creativity, and play. Combining skills from partner acrobatics, yoga, and therapeutic Thai massage, it is an interactive practice which is athletic, fun, and very accessible to learn as a beginner.
In this class we will cover the fundamental principles of Acro Yoga, and intermediate level progressions will be introduced for those ready and keen for more of a challenge! In groups of two or more, we train static holds, dynamic transitions, and at the intermediate level, series of moves known as ‘washing machines’ and ‘flows’.
Feel supported and challenged to move your body in new ways, grow in confidence, build trust, push your boundaries, get up-side down, and explore a unique context for physical practice that is based on connection and communication with others.
