Gentle Yoga
This Yoga session has three main purposes: first, to take care of the health of our bodies. Second, to develop mindfulness of the present moment through our breath and body. And third, we practice becoming familiar with our own minds and hearts. This includes becoming aware of our natural loving-kindness.

We start every session with the attendance of our breath and by setting a motivation for the practice. We have a principle of compassion for ourselves, or bodies, our minds, and other beings as well. Then we practice standing and sitting yoga asanas. Through different sequences, we work with strength, equilibrium, flexibility, and stretching in a deep, yet gentle way. We will conclude every class with some minutes of guided sitting meditation.

This class is open to students from every age, faith, level of practice and physical condition.
