The Capital SouthEast Connector Joint Powers Authority proposes to improve Kammerer Road between the Interstate 5 (I-5)/Hood Franklin Road Interchange and the State Route 99 (SR-99)/Kammerer Road/Grant Line Road Interchange. A new four-lane expressway will be constructed between I-5 and Bruceville Road and existing Kammerer Road will be improved to a four-lane thoroughfare between Bruceville Road and SR-99. The Connector JPA has studied the effects this project may have on the environment. Our “Initial Study” shows that the proposed project will not significantly affect the quality of the environment with mitigation incorporated, and thus a Mitigated Negative Declaration has been prepared. These documents are available for you to review and it is the Connector’s JPA’s intent to adopt an Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) for the project.
